European Regulation for tyre labels
The European Regulation n. 1222/2009 requires that the label in European format is clearly visible, which is why it is printed in sizes large enough to facilitate reading, and that must be applied to the tyre itself by means of an adhesive support. The parameters to be reported are rolling resistance, wet grip and rolling noise.

Adhesive is the protagonist
The self-adhesive solutions for tyres are equipped with a high-performance adhesive, which is able to fill in irregularities in the tyre surface and ensure safe adhesion to the tread. In addition, the adhesives are designed to resist the migration of chemicals present in the tread compound resulting from the vulcanization process of the tyre, which can interfere with the adhesion of the label.

Hybrid face materials for maximum strength and coverage
The paper or cavitated polypropylene face material for this range of products is coupled to an aluminium foil, so as to protect the print, containing information about the tyre or the service of stopping the tyres, from any migration resulting from the vulcanization process, which could go to discolour the print.
