ECO-ENERGY
Coating Ricofin Srl: Slitting and Logistic Centre
INTEGRATED PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM (FILM)

The Coating Ricofin Srl in Caponago (Italy) can be defined as eco-compatible thanks to an integrated film photovoltaic system, a solar system for water heating for sanitary use and a floor heating system that saves from 30 to 40% of gas. Because of all these energetic saving requirements, the new slitting and logistic centre obtained the Energetic Certification from the Region.

SOLVENTS POST-COMBUSTION

Post-Combustion system constructed in 2004 and formed by three towers internally covered with ceramic tiles, that enables the post-combustion at high temperatures of the solvent smoke coming from the coating lines. The high temperature of the postcombustion process allows to reduce the smokes emitted below the law limits. Once the system works, it is the combustion itself that self-maintains the temperature of the ceramic tiles, avoiding gas consumption and so contributing to lower the environmental impact.
